Mini Makers Studio (Ages 3-6)

05 Jul 2026  —  30 Jul 2026

You're right, sorry about that! For Mini Makers the schedule stays as it was in the original, with Performance Lab first. Here's the corrected version:

This summer, your little one steps into a world where creativity takes center stage. The Mini Maker Production Studio is a one-of-a-kind camp where children don't just perform — they design, build, and bring their ideas to life.

Each day unfolds across two immersive experiences that work hand in hand.

In the Performance Lab, students explore acting, storytelling, music, and movement, building confidence, expression, and the joy of collaborating with others.

In the Maker Studio, those ideas take physical form. Students build props, costumes, simple machines, and set pieces that connect directly to what they are creating on stage.

Daily Schedule (10am to 2pm)
10:00 to 10:15: Welcome and Warm-Up
10:15 to 11:30: Performance Lab (acting, movement, music)
11:30 to 11:45: Break
11:45 to 1:15: Maker Studio (props, costumes, simple set pieces)
1:15 to 2:00: Integration Time (bringing making and performance together)

FAQ

1. Is the program the same every week?
The structure and themes stay consistent, but each week brings new stories, characters, and creative challenges. Students build on what they've learned, so attending multiple weeks leads to deeper skills, more complex projects, and a real sense of growth.

2. What age groups is the camp designed for?
The Mini Maker Production Studio is designed for our youngest creators, ages 3 to 5.

3. Does my child need prior experience in acting or making?
Not at all. The program welcomes all levels. Whether your child is a first-timer or has experience, they will be supported and stretched in the right way.

4. What should my child bring each day?
A water bottle, a snack and lunch, and comfortable clothes they can move and get creative in.

5. Will students take home what they create?
Yes. Every prop, puppet, costume, and project they build throughout the week goes home with them.

6. How do you balance fun and learning?
Everything is hands-on and play-based. Students develop creativity, confidence, collaboration, and problem-solving and they have a great time doing it.

7. How many students are in each group?
Group sizes are kept small so every child gets attention, support, and plenty of space to participate actively.

8. Who are the instructors?
Sessions are led by experienced educators with backgrounds in makerspace, creative arts, and student-centered learning.

9. Will there be a final showcase?
Students share their work informally throughout the week. In some cases there will be a small showcase or viewing of their creations and performances at the end.

10. What if my child is shy?
That's completely fine. The program is designed to build confidence gently and at each child's own pace. Many students who start out quietly become some of the most expressive by the end of the week.

11. What safety measures are in place?
All activities are supervised, age-appropriate, and designed with safety in mind. Materials and tools are carefully chosen to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

12. Can I book individual weeks?
Yes, you can book one or more weeks to suit your schedule. We do recommend multiple weeks so your child can fully benefit from the progression of skills and projects.
