Language & Literacy Week

From November 16–20, MLS will celebrate Language and Literacy Week, a schoolwide event dedicated to the joy of language, creativity, and expression. 

Throughout the week, students from KG2 to Grade 12 will take part in a variety of engaging activities, from read-aloud sessions and poetry writing to storytelling, art, and calligraphy. Each day will highlight a unique aspect of literacy, encouraging learners to explore language in fun, meaningful, and collaborative ways.

The celebration will culminate on Thursday, November 20, with our Language and Literacy Day Open House, where students and parents are invited to join us on campus for a morning of interactive stations, performances, and reading experiences,  including the beloved Book Character Fashion Show, Shared Reading spaces, a French Embassy table, and a PTA Book Drive. 📖

Language connects us all across cultures, ages, and experiences. This special week fosters that connection, inspiring a lifelong love of reading, writing, and storytelling in every learner.
