The Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition is the culminating learning experience for students in their final year of the PYP (Grade 5).
This milestone event brings together the knowledge, skills, and attributes learners have developed throughout their PYP journey, showcasing their growth as confident, reflective, and internationally minded students.
This year’s (2024-2025) exhibition centered on the transdisciplinary theme “How We Express Ourselves.” Through this lens, students engaged in a student-led inquiry into real-world issues that matter to them. The exhibition offered a platform for learners to demonstrate their ability to synthesize information, apply critical thinking, collaborate effectively, and take meaningful action.
Over several weeks, students worked in collaborative groups to explore complex global and local topics such as sustainability, mental health, technology and society, and social justice. With the guidance of mentors and the support of teachers and families, they conducted research, interviewed experts, and developed presentations that highlighted not only their findings, but also their reflections and proposed solutions.
The PYP Exhibition is a powerful expression of learner voice, choice, and ownership. It embodies the essence of the IB Learner Profile and the transdisciplinary nature of the PYP, reinforcing our commitment to developing internationally minded students who are empowered to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
We are incredibly proud of our Grade 5 learners for their dedication, curiosity, and creative thinking. We also extend our appreciation to mentors, teachers, and families for their continuous encouragement and partnership.
The 2024–25 PYP Exhibition stands as a celebration of inquiry, collaboration, and purposeful action, and a meaningful culmination of our learners’ PYP journey.
