Bringing School Spirit Online
Who says virtual learning can't be full of surprises, laughter, and creativity?
This week, our entire MLS community, from Early Years through Grade 12, is bringing extra excitement to online learning with three special Virtual Theme Days, designed to strengthen connections, encourage self-expression, and bring some fun into learning from home.
From Disguise Yourself Day and Crazy Hair Day to Pajama Day, students of all ages are finding creative ways to express their personalities, share joyful moments, and connect with their teachers and classmates, even through a screen.
Beyond the fun, these experiences have an important purpose. At MLS, we recognize that a sense of belonging, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful relationships are essential parts of learning. These shared experiences help maintain connections, encourage participation, and strengthen our sense of community during virtual learning.
Teachers and families are invited to join the fun, too! Their participation helps bring our school community together, reminding students that the MLS spirit extends far beyond our classrooms.
