Last Thursday, MLS came together for a joyful celebration of Math Day, a schoolwide event filled with creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving fun!
Across campus, students explored how math connects to everyday life in meaningful and engaging ways. Grades 6–12 took the lead, running 16 interactive math stations designed to challenge and inspire, while Grades 1–5 rotated through the activities in their House Teams, working together to solve puzzles, play games, and apply mathematical thinking in action.
In the Early Years, our youngest learners joined the celebration too! During morning greeting time and throughout the day, they explored numbers through songs, stories, and hands-on themed activities that made learning both playful and purposeful. 🌟
The event showcased what math at MLS is all about, teamwork, critical thinking, and a love for discovery. It reminded us that math is more than numbers; it’s about curiosity, creativity, and the joy of solving challenges together.
