This week, Tania Al Jaroudy, our Director of Innovation, proudly represented Makers Learning School at GESS Dubai 2025, one of the region’s leading education conferences. She shared how MLS cultivates a culture of innovation, creativity, and lifelong learning, anchored in the belief that meaningful change begins with emotional intelligence and human connection.

At the center of her talk was Conscious Discipline, the social-emotional learning framework by Dr. Becky Bailey that shapes our school culture and empowers students to engage their executive brain. By building safety, connection, and problem-solving skills, Conscious Discipline allows learners to collaborate, think critically, and approach challenges with confidence and empathy.

Tania also highlighted how technology, creativity, and compassion come together at MLS to empower every child. This holistic approach nurtures students who are not only innovative thinkers, but also caring, grounded members of their community.
