MLS Publishes Its Revamped Programme of Inquiry (POI)

We are thrilled to announce that MLS has officially published its revamped Programme of Inquiry (POI) for the IB PYP! 

From Pre-K to Grade 5, our teachers have worked collaboratively, both vertically and horizontally, to design a concept-driven, transdisciplinary learning journey that promotes global-mindedness, agency, and empowerment.

A well-aligned POI is key to creating engaging, purposeful, and connected learning experiences. It allows us to:

• Build on students’ prior knowledge
• Foster conceptual understanding
• Encourage inquiry and curiosity
• Develop ATL skills and learner profile attributes 

We are also proud to share that the POI overview is now available in both English and Arabic, reflecting MLS’s commitment to valuing the Arabic language and celebrating the Saudi heritage 💚.
