Last week, MLS celebrated Earth Week 2026, bringing our community together under the theme “Our Power, Our Planet – Small Changes, Big Impact.” Throughout the week, students engaged in meaningful activities that promoted environmental awareness and encouraged sustainable habits in their daily lives.
Each day focused on a different action. Learners participated in No Plastic Day, making conscious choices to reduce single-use plastics, followed by the Turn It Off Challenge, where classrooms practiced energy conservation by switching off non-essential lights and devices. On Recycling Day, students learned how to properly sort materials and take responsibility for reducing waste.
The celebration continued with Earth Day, where students dressed in Earth-inspired colors representing their House Teams, reinforcing a sense of unity and shared responsibility.
Earth Week provided valuable opportunities for learners to reflect on their role in protecting the planet and to take simple, actionable steps toward sustainability.
At MLS, we believe that small actions can lead to meaningful change, and we are proud of our learners for embracing this mindset and contributing to a greener future.
