MLS families recently had the opportunity to participate in the Upcycling Wonderground at JAX, a unique creative experience presented as part of the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale's public programs.
Set within a circus-inspired world built entirely from reclaimed materials, the event invited children and families to explore, create, and play through a variety of hands-on experiences. Learners enjoyed discovering cardboard cities, interactive art installations, puppet-inspired activities, and creative stations designed to spark imagination and innovation.
The experience beautifully demonstrated how everyday materials can be transformed into something meaningful, highlighting the importance of creativity, sustainability, and design thinking. It was inspiring to see our learners building, inventing, and collaborating while exploring new ways to express their ideas.
At MLS, we believe that some of the most powerful learning happens when creativity, curiosity, and real-world experiences come together. The Upcycling Wonderground was a wonderful example of this in action.
